Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, sort, and organize inventory using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Verify and document incoming/outgoing shipments against purchase orders and manifests
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and warehouse organization standards
- Operate warehouse equipment safely while adhering to OSHA and company protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report operational issues
- Support quality control processes by inspecting goods for damage and discrepancies
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year material handling or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory management systems
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional weekends
