Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, sort, and store inventory using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Inspect materials for damage and maintain accurate inventory records via WMS systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and quality control standards
- Operate warehouse equipment with precision and maintain clean, organized workspaces
- Support inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure 99.9% accuracy
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience required
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Basic math and computer literacy skills
