Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment to transport goods throughout the facility
- Accurately receive, scan, and stage incoming inventory with meticulous attention to detail
- Optimize warehouse space through strategic stacking and organization of products
- Maintain real-time inventory accuracy using WMS systems and barcode scanners
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including OSHA compliance and lockout/tagout procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily productivity targets
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year material handling or warehouse experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to safety compliance
- Ability to work flexible shifts including overtime and weekends as needed
