Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Accurately scan and track inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Maintain organized storage areas and perform cycle counts as required
- Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Operate packaging equipment and prepare shipments for dispatch
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
