Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Accurately receive, verify, and stage incoming shipments with zero tolerance for errors
- Maintain real-time inventory records using WMS systems and barcode scanners
- Optimize warehouse space utilization through strategic storage solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Implement stringent safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report operational issues
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience required
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Proficiency with inventory management software and barcode scanners
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
