Responsibilities
- Efficiently move raw materials, finished goods, and equipment throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, documenting discrepancies
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and maintain organized storage areas
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock records
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and shipping schedules
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- 1+ years of material handling or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy with experience in inventory software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
