Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload trucks and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Manage inventory through accurate scanning and data entry in warehouse management systems
- Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper material rotation
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Support inventory audits and cycle count initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid Alaska driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work in cold environments and various weather conditions
