Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move goods throughout the facility.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping according to customer specifications and safety guidelines.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards and company policies (5S methodology).
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage during transit and report discrepancies immediately to the warehouse supervisor.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and shipping logs using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling.
- Licensing: Valid forklift certification is preferred; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based setting.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
