Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient storage area.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock replenishment to ensure product availability.
- Package and label items securely for shipment, ensuring all safety regulations are followed.
- Operate computerized warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory status.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory and calculating weights.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
