Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Load/unload shipments using hydraulic lifts and manual techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory records via barcode scanning systems
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in varying temperature environments
- Must pass pre-employment background check
