Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor techniques.
- Inventory Management: Pick, pack, and verify products against purchase orders with high accuracy.
- Stock Organization: Maintain orderly storage areas and ensure all inventory is properly labeled and accessible.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery (Forklift, Conveyor belts) according to safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or errors and report discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Documentation: Accurately complete necessary paperwork, including packing slips and logbooks.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform heavy physical labor.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Equipment: Forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus but not required.
