Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, store, and distribute raw materials and finished products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory records through WMS system updates and cycle counts
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including OSHA standards and proper PPE usage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows and meet production deadlines
- Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and participate in preventive maintenance schedules
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing principles
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of material handling or warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
