Responsibilities
- Safely move, load, and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, documenting discrepancies
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas following FIFO protocols
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely material flow and production support
- Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA standards in daily operations
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse or material handling experience required
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
