Responsibilities
- Efficiently move materials between storage areas, production lines, and loading docks using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, documenting discrepancies
- Maintain organized inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including OSHA standards and proper equipment handling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and report maintenance needs promptly
- Support cycle counts and inventory reconciliation processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
