Responsibilities
- Load & Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and containers using proper equipment and techniques.
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move stock efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock levels match system data.
- Packaging: Properly package, label, and prepare products for shipping to ensure damage-free delivery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and warehouse protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse organized and tidy to facilitate quick retrieval of materials.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification: Forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to read and understand work orders.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
