Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts and warehouse machinery to load and unload shipments from trucks and transport them to designated storage areas.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and perform cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Product Handling: Sort, pack, label, and arrange products in preparation for shipment and distribution with precision.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on provided warehouse equipment to ensure operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- License: Valid forklift certification is a plus but we will train qualified candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
