Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Inventory Management: Use barcode scanners and warehouse management systems to track stock levels accurately.
- Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move goods.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Packaging: Assist in the packaging and labeling of shipments for domestic and international delivery.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as business needs arise.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required for warehouse transport duties.
