Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Inspect materials for damage or defects and report discrepancies to management immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization as directed by shift supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
