Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, while strictly adhering to all safety regulations.
- Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
- Keep the warehouse organized and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with team leads and logistics coordinators to optimize workflow and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Forklift Certification (Class A or B) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory management.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as business needs dictate.
