Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and accurately stock incoming materials to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with a focus on speed and precision to meet delivery deadlines.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (training provided if unlicensed).
- Quality Control: Conduct routine quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before storage or shipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and digital logging using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld scanners or RF devices.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- License: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
