Responsibilities
- Receive and Inspect: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and inspect goods for damage or defects before storage.
- Inventory Management: Organize and store materials in designated areas using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move stock within the warehouse.
- Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders by picking items from inventory and preparing them for shipment with precision and speed.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and safe by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Stock Rotation: Monitor stock levels and rotate inventory to ensure older stock is used before newer stock (FIFO method).
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus but not required for our paid training program.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on accuracy during picking, packing, and inventory counts.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable means of transportation and a positive work history.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
