Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks efficiently.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against invoices and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Organize and maintain the storage area, including shelving and racks, to ensure optimal space utilization and safety compliance.
- Utilize RF scanners and inventory management software to track stock levels and update inventory databases in real-time.
- Prepare pallets and packages for shipping using proper wrapping, labeling, and strapping techniques.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures at all times.
- Assist in the physical counting and auditing of inventory cycles as required by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly for extended periods.
- Basic math skills required for inventory counting and verification.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) may be required depending on specific job duties.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
- Forklift certification is a strong plus but not mandatory.
