Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials between warehouse zones
- Coordinate inventory management via remote systems while conducting physical counts
- Inspect and package shipments ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with remote team to optimize material flow and reduce handling time
- Maintain accurate digital records of inventory movements and equipment status
- Implement lean principles to minimize waste in material handling processes
- Train on new remote inventory management systems and digital tracking tools
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience
- Valid forklift certification and OSHA 10-hour training
- Proficient in inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) via remote access
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Strong digital communication skills for remote collaboration
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with WMS systems preferred
