Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials by hand or using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
- Verify and count items received to ensure accuracy against delivery tickets or purchase orders.
- Package and prepare shipments for delivery using appropriate materials and equipment.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse inventory in designated storage areas.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist in cycle counting and inventory audits as directed by management.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and perform routine equipment maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or Forklift Operator is a plus but not required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid forklift certification.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation is required.
