Responsibilities
- Unload, scan, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Organize and store materials in designated warehouse zones using FIFO principles
- Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently
- Pick and pack orders with 99.5% accuracy for daily shipments
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Assist in monthly inventory counts and cycle count reconciliation
- Communicate inventory discrepancies to warehouse supervisor
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Basic math skills and ability to read packing slips
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR (for equipment operation)
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to work variable shifts including weekends
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Forklift certification a plus (training provided)
