Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage; maintain inventory records
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently following OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize material flow and storage
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to 5S standards
- Support inventory control through cycle counts and documentation
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Reliable transportation to work site
