Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move materials.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and organization.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with precision and speed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and damage reports using warehouse management software.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not required.
- Licensure: Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is a major plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate warehouse aisles.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable with a consistent work history.
