Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts, manage stock locations, and ensure accurate recording of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with precision and speed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of handling equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and digital records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is a strong plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer proficiency, and ability to work well in a team.
- Availability: Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
