Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks, pallets, and containers using proper equipment and techniques.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts, stock replenishment, and organization of warehouse aisles to ensure efficient workflow.
- Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Shipping & Receiving: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage, preparing documentation as required.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or damage and report any issues to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not always required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- Equipment Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but we provide training for the right candidates.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
