Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move pallets and inventory within 500,000 sq ft facility
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Optimize warehouse efficiency through strategic pallet stacking and inventory rotation
- Maintain accurate digital and physical inventory records using WMS systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet nightly shipping deadlines
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Train on new equipment and safety procedures as technologies evolve
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts in warehouse/distribution settings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hour shifts
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to zero-incident safety records
- Flexibility to work nights (6 PM - 6 AM) weekends as required
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
