Responsibilities
- Operate electric/pneumatic forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized materials safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs immediately
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using RF scanning systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company warehouse procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow during peak hours
- Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas with precision
- Support inventory audits and cycle count initiatives
- Assist in training new operators on equipment and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Osha-approved) with minimum 1 year recent experience
- Proven ability to operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts in high-volume environments
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and order verification
- RF scanner proficiency or willingness to learn proprietary systems
- Reliable transportation for night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
