Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, and stack materials in warehouse
- Verify inventory accuracy and document movements using warehouse management systems
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, including dock zones and storage aisles
- Inspect and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational procedures
- Collaborate with night shift supervisors and cross-functional teams
- Assist with loading/unloading trailers and inventory counts as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of certified forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Physical stamina to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
