Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload shipments
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily targets
- Organize warehouse storage areas for optimal space utilization
- Train new team members on equipment operation procedures
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or logistics experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexible availability to work nights (6 PM - 6 AM)
