Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, and stack materials in designated areas
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems and RF scanners
- Inspect and perform basic preventative maintenance on material handling equipment
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows
- Load/unload trailers using proper pallet jack techniques
- Train new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts in warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Forklift certification from accredited institution (e.g., ProLift, NCCER)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
