Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized goods in 50,000 sq ft climate-controlled warehouse
- Execute inventory counts and cycle counts with RF scanner technology
- Maintain strict OSHA compliance and daily equipment inspection logs
- Coordinate cross-docking operations for retail distribution partners
- Load/untractortrailers using dock equipment and proper safety protocols
- Train new operators on warehouse management system (WMS) procedures
Qualifications
- OSHA-certified forklift operator license with 2+ years recent experience
- Valid DC driver's license and clean MVR record
- Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in varied temperature zones
- Availability to work 10 PM - 6 AM schedule with weekend rotation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Experience with hazardous material handling (DOT 49 CFR)
