Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely to move, load, and unload materials in a warehouse setting
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Verify inventory accuracy and document material movements in warehouse management systems
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following OSHA and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production and shipping deadlines
- Adhere to all safety procedures and report equipment or safety concerns immediately
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience in warehouse/logistics
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management capabilities
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
