Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized materials in warehouse and yard settings
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure OSHA compliance
- Manage inventory using WMS systems and maintain accurate stock records
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Train junior staff on equipment operation and warehouse best practices
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license with 2+ years of experience
- Proven ability to operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and reach trucks
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
