Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a 500,000 sq ft distribution center
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and hand trucks with precision
- Maintain accurate inventory counts via RF scanning technology
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet nightly shipment deadlines
- Operate in temperature-controlled environment (65°F year-round)
- Utilize warehouse management system for inventory tracking
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year industrial equipment operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Basic computer literacy for inventory scanning systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability for overnight shifts
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
