Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in high-volume warehouse setting
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance documentation to ensure optimal performance
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize inventory movements and meet tight delivery deadlines
- Maintain precise inventory records through WMS system integration and cycle counting
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company emergency procedures
- Optimize storage space utilization while maintaining FIFO inventory rotation methods
- Train new team members on equipment operation and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (required at hire)
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse forklift operation experience
- Proficient in operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy with WMS experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail with zero-tolerance for safety violations
- Flexible availability to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
