Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to scan and verify inventory accuracy during inbound and outbound operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety checks and report any hazards or unsafe conditions.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA 10/30) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy industrial machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced night shift environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver's license.
