Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Execute precise inventory movements and cycle counts with zero-error accuracy
- Maintain equipment through daily inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize night shift workflow
- Document all material movements using warehouse management systems
- Implement strict safety protocols for hazardous materials handling
- Train on new warehouse automation technologies as implemented
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years industrial forklift operation experience
- Proven ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Exceptional spatial awareness and depth perception
- Availability to work 10 PM - 6 AM shifts with weekend flexibility
