We are seeking an experienced, safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our high-volume night operations team at our state-of-the-art facility in East Boston, MA. Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Conduct thorough pre-shift inspections of all machinery to ensure safe and proper operation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning barcodes and documenting stock movements in the warehouse management system.
- Collaborate with the night shift crew to ensure a seamless workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including boxing and labeling products.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
