Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, receive incoming shipments, and prepare outbound pallets with 99.9% accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines, perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections, and maintain a clean work area.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders according to work tickets and customer specifications.
- Documentation: Accurately complete paperwork, including daily logs, incident reports, and inventory manifests.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid, unexpired forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
