Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the night shift team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFO) is required.
- Schedule: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
