Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure all safety protocols are met.
- Manage inventory by accurately counting, labeling, and stocking pallets and boxes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and traffic management.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (CDL Class A or B is a plus but not always required).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (3rd shift) and weekends.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and material handling best practices.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and a positive attitude.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory.
