Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport palletized materials safely using forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Conduct thorough pre-shift safety inspections of all forklift equipment and reporting any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock placement and rotation (FIFO).
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company workplace policies.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets efficiently.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including tagging and labeling shipments.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
