Job Summary
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within our facility and to our outbound vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, reach trucks) safely and efficiently at all times.
- Load, unload, and organize freight and inventory with high accuracy.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on equipment and work areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and dispatchers regarding load status.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and walking on various surfaces.
- Must possess a valid driver's license (commercial license preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer literacy for logging operations is a plus.
