Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Perform pre-shift inspections and report equipment malfunctions to maintenance
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and cycle counts
- Collaborate with warehouse team to meet daily production targets
- Document work activities and maintain accurate shipping/receiving records
- Adapt to changing priorities in a high-volume distribution environment
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to work independently during night shift (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
