Responsibilities
- Retrieve and pick merchandise from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or handheld devices based on customer orders.
- Inspect items for quality and verify that all items are accurately labeled and packaged.
- Package goods securely using appropriate materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tape) to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient warehouse flow.
- Operate basic warehouse machinery, including pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts and weekends as required.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow pick tickets and safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
