Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload freight onto and off of trucks and trailers using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, check, and store incoming inventory while maintaining organized stockrooms.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and conveyor systems efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the day shift team to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and paperwork.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license preferred but not always required.
